Charter Arms Co. is an American maker of revolvers that are relatively inexpensive yet serviceable. The original Charter Arms produced revolvers chambered in calibers .22 Long Rifle, .22 Winchester Magnum, .32 Long, .32 H&R Magnum, .327 Federal Magnum, .357 Magnum, .38 Special and .44 Special. The most famous revolvers manufactured by Charter Arms are the .44 Special Bulldog and .38 Special Bulldog Pug.

Its most famous moments include killing John Lennon. Their products were used by the Jew,  Son of Sam and a black thug, Mumia Abu-Jamal who communists are trying to keep from execution.
