Condoleezza was a big name in politics when she was involved with Bush. She was his henchwench. Then Bush went so she disappeared from the headlines. The evil she did remains.
Condoleezza Rice Authorized Torture
QUOTE
Since being outed as the person who approved water boarding, Condoleezza Rice has been unable to maintain that veneer of manicured niceness. She has a hunted, vicious look in this video from the brilliant Marjorie Cohn [ Almost certainly a Jew who, quite probably approves of torture in Israel - Editor ].This line of steaming bullshit from Rice shows just how very rattled she is:
“By definition, if it was authorized by the President, it didn’t violate our obligations under the Convention against Torture.”
Now I have had time to consider my appearance to give evidence to parliament last Tuesday, my overwhelming impression remains the lack of compassion displayed by the MPs. They seemed to have no particular concern about men, women and children screaming in agony under torture. They were solely concerned with whether the government’s collusion with it could be justified by legal sophistry. It may be that they are genuinely motivated by humanitarian concern, but the Earl of Onslow was the only one who really gave me that feeling.

I do understand that, in their very British way, they were sticking like limpets to their remit. But that opens another very interesting question. This committee is tasked by parliament to monitor British compliance with its international human rights obligations. But Foreign Office ministers are refusing to cooperate with, or appear before, this enquiry into our complicity with torture. What does that say about the weakness of our parliament [ and the corruption of the FCO - Ed. ]?

This one did not get much publicity from the Main Stream Media. The agenda comes first.

cCondoleezza Rice Authorized Torture II
QUOTE
Role in authorizing use of torture techniques
A Senate Intelligence Committee reported that on July 17, 2002, Rice met with CIA director George Tenet to personally convey the Bush administration's approval of the proposed waterboarding of alleged Al Qaeda leader Abu Zubaydah. "Days after Dr Rice gave Mr. Tenet her approval, the Justice Department approved the use of waterboarding in a top secret August 1 memo."[59] Waterboarding is considered to be torture by a wide range of authorities, including legal experts,[60][61][62][63] war veterans,[64][65] intelligence officials,[66] military judges,[67] human rights organizations,[68][69][70][71][72][73][74][75] the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder,[76] and many senior politicians, including U.S. President Barack Obama [ until he got the job - Editor ].In 2003 Rice, Vice President Dick Cheney and Attorney General John Ashcroft met with the CIA again and were briefed on the use of waterboarding and other methods including week-long sleep deprivation, forced nudity and the use of stress positions. The Senate report says that the Bush administration officials "reaffirmed that the CIA program was lawful and reflected administration policy".[59]
The Senate report also "suggests Miss Rice played a more significant role than she acknowledged in written testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee submitted in the autumn."[59] At that time, she had acknowledged attending meetings to discuss the CIA interrogations, but she claimed that she could not recall the details, and she "omitted her direct role in approving the programme in her written statement to the committee."
In a conversation with a student at Stanford University in April 2009, Rice stated that she did not authorize the CIA to use the enhanced interrogation techniques. Rice said, "I didn't authorize anything. I conveyed the authorization of the administration to the agency that they had policy authorization, subject to the Justice Department's clearance. That's what I did." She added, “We were told, nothing that violates our obligations under the Convention Against Torture. And so, by definition, if it was authorized by the president, it did not violate our obligations under the Conventions Against Torture."
