Here is Frederick Brodribb, a 1st Class Gunner with the Garrison Artillery at Bovington Camp, in Dorset. He is second from the right looking nonchalant. Fred was from Somerset so, naturally enough spoke Somerset dialect as well as English. The Wellington Regiment came later.
