Care Goes On Trial
Some, perhaps many of the alleged victims who were invited to tell the police about how they were abused were representative of the crime industry, well aware that such claims can lead to lots of money, all of it tax free. Mr Webster takes a calm look at investigations and the worry, indeed paranoia behind them.

What The BBC Did Not Tell Us
The truth but then that is the Beeb's very own thing. It seems that a number of alleged victims were lying and provably lying at that.

Woman Connected To Haut De La Garenne Died For No Obvious Reason
QUOTE
THE FAMILY of a Walworth woman, whose decomposed body was discovered in her home last year having being partly eaten by her ten week old puppy, were left fuming after an inquest returned an open verdict on her death. The news reported in September last year that the initial inquest into Dyana Maloney's death was suspended, following allegations presented by her brother Bill Maloney that her death was connected to his investigation into child abuse in children's homes........

Mr Maloney, a documentary film maker, had recently completed a film about abuse at the controversial care home Haut de la Garenne in Jersey. The eight Maloney children all spent time in care, and Dyana was sent on sailing holidays to Jersey, where she was allegedly abused. She part funded the documentary undertaken by her brother, and voiced her concerns about his safety in a diary while he was on the island filming.......

The coroner returned the open verdict on Ms Maloney's death, stating that there was not enough evidence to establish exactly how she died.

His death follows the apparent suicides of police sergeant Richard Fuller, 55, who was found at his house near Calne, Wilts, on Monday after he shot himself with a rifle. The following day Michael Todd, 50, the chief constable of Greater Manchester Police is thought to have committed suicide while walking in Snowdonia.

Police Sergeant Dead, GSW
QUOTE
The police officer in charge of security at the Duchess of Cornwall’s family home in Wiltshire has been found shot dead. Sergeant Richard Fuller, a veteran firearms expert, is believed to have shot himself with his own shotgun at his home near Calne, a few miles from Ray Mill where he was responsible for the security of the wife of the Prince of Wales. News of Sergeant Fuller’s death was broken to the Prince and the Duchess on board the yacht Leander which they are using during an official tour of the Caribbean............

In February 2006 he was cleared of using unnecessary force during an arrest. Gareth Evans had claimed that Sergeant Fuller pinned his head to the floor with his boot during the arrest but he was acquitted by magistrates in Cheltenham. Sergeant Fuller lived in a whitewashed thatched cottage with his wife, Jill, 45 in the village of Bremhill. The couple have three children: Jennifer, 21, Daniel, 19, who is in the Army serving in Iraq, and Stephanie, 18........

“He and Jill are lovely, competent, hard-working people. I feel awful for her and her children. He was very into country pursuits. He was a showjumper. They kept horses. He taught clay pigeon shooting.

Michael J. Todd - Chief Policeman Of Manchester
QUOTE
He joined Essex Police in 1976, and the Metropolitan Police on a management exchange program, rising to the position of Assistant Commissioner. Todd then became Assistant Chief Constable in Nottinghamshire, before becoming the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police from 2002. In 2006 he became a vice president of ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers), a post he held until his death.

Investigation of CIA extraordinary rendition flights

Todd investigated on behalf of the Association of Chief Police Officers the extraordinary rendition flights conducted by the CIA to transport detainees.[6]

Taser demonstration
Todd allowed himself to be hit by a Taser in 2005 to demonstrate that the stun guns were safe; This was an effort to have them more widely issued to police officers. "I couldn't move, it hurt like hell," he said after recovering. "I wouldn't want to do that again." [7]...........

Death
After Todd was reported missing by Greater Manchester Police, rescue teams from Llanberis, North Wales, started a search for him at 01:00 on 11 March 2008. After being alerted by hill walkers who found personal possessions, they found Todd's body in the Bwlch Glas area of Snowdon.[9] The post-mortem report initially found "no obvious cause" of death.[10]

After his death, Manchester Chamber of Commerce issued a statement supporting Chief Executive Angie Robinson, following reports that she had been having an affair with Todd. Todd's widow Carolyn paid tribute to "a caring and loving father and husband."[11]

The inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on 13 March 2008. The inquest ruled that Todd had died from exposure, essentially freezing to death having been only lightly clothed on the slopes of Snowdon.

Dead for no very obvious reason. The Wiki is not telling us about the malpractice. See Chief Constable Mike Todd had relationships with 38 women as head of Greater Manchester Police, says report. The Met gave him a good write up to get rid of him and his fornication. Died drunk

The "Punch" line, left to his own Devizes!

Sergeant found not guilty
POLICE sergeant Richard Fullers name has been cleared after he was found not guilty of using unreasonable force to arrest a man. Radio ham Gareth Evans, 55, had complained Sgt Fuller, who lives near Devizes, had unnecessarily used his foot to force his head to the ground while he was being arrested at his home, in Hardens Close, Chippenham, in March. Magistrates in Chippenham found Sgt Fuller, a member of the force's armed response unit based in Devizes who has an unblemished career record, not guilty on the second day of his trial on Thursday, February 9.
They said he had not intended to harm Mr Evans, who suffered superficial facial injuries, and had not used excessive or unreasonable force. He was alleged to have forced Mr Evans' head to the ground with his foot.

Magistrates in Chippenham heard Mr Evans was arrested at his home in Hardens Close in connection with the harassment of an Internet chat room user a case which has since been dropped. The court was shown a video of the arrest and photographs of Mr Evans' facial injuries taken after the incident. Mr Evans, 55, spoke of his terror at the arrest, which used what he described as "agonising force"........

Nick Fridd, defending, said by last June Mr Evans had made 59 complaints to the Independent Police Complaints Commission about Wiltshire Constabulary. He said Mr Evans aired his views of the police force on the Internet, calling them the "we'll s***e all over you constabulary". He also said former police officer Roy Clarke, who was stabbed to death in his Melksham home in December 2004, "deserved what he got".

When asked by Mr Fridd if he shouted and screamed during the arrest to draw the attention of his neighbours, Mr Evans replied: "No. I was in absolute agony. I've never known such pain." Fuller is a member of the force's armed response unit and is based at Devizes.
