Teddy Roosevelt

Teddy Roosevelt was a big man when big men did big things. He was bright enough to have  a camera man to hand when it mattered. Look at the faces in the photo; confident, competent, effective. That is how I read them. Compare him and them with snivelling, draft dodging little swine like Blair. He had the misfortune to be slightly related to Franklin D Roosevelt, another president but also a traitor. The Wikipedia gives him a decent write up - see Theodore Roosevelt

Teddy Roosevelt Quoted
QUOTE
Among US presidents, Teddy Roosevelt stands out. He's the only one to win both the Nobel Prize and the Medal of Honor. Plus, he busted up corporate trusts, fathered the Panama Canal, and set aside 230 million acres of land for public good, kick starting the American conservation movement.

Born in Manhattan in 1858, Roosevelt served as lieutenant colonel in the Spanish-American War, and then came back to New York to serve as governor.
UNQUOTE
A rather special man who did things by leading from the front.

On September 2, 1901, at the Minnesota State Fair, Roosevelt first used in a public speech a saying that would later be universally associated with him: "Speak softly and carry a big stick, and you will go far."

That looks like a large double barreled rifle - right for the job. He went on safari with Frederick Selous who really was a great white hunter.
