Libya

Libya was run by King Idris I from 1951 to 1969 after the Second World War and rather well according to Armand HammerOil is the significant issue for Libya and the West. They have it; we need it. This makes it a political issue. It also leads to power plays by the Seven Sisters, the big outfits in the business. One virtue of Libyan oil is that it does not have to go through the Suez Canal, a major vulnerability.

There was a take over in 1969 by  Muammar Gaddafi. His marketing used discontent with the King getting too much while people got too little.

Victor Ostrovsky, late of Mossad [ Motto: By treachery shalt thou make war ] tells us that the Israelis set up a False Flag Operation which caused Ronnie Regan to make air strikes with USAF F111s. See Bombing of Libya (1986). They missed Colonel Gaddafi. The Jews succeeded second time round, in 2011. Human rights are the excuse. Oil is the truth.

Is force an instrument of love in Libya? - http://www.straight.com/article-446246/vancouver/gwynne-dyer-force-instrument-love-libya

By Gwynne Dyer, September 1, 2011
Somebody (perhaps a Jesuit) once said: “Force is an instrument of love in a world of complexity and chance.” I’d be grateful if someone could tell me where that comes from, but it has stayed with me for a long time because it embodies a kind of truth. Sometimes you have to use force to protect innocent people from harm. Which brings us to Libya........

It was the decision by France and Britain to commit their air forces to the defence of the rebels in eastern Libya that saved them from being overrun by Gadhafi’s forces in the early days of the revolt. Other Western countries sent combat aircraft to join them (although the United States drew back after the first few days), and Gadhafi’s army was stopped just short of Benghazi.

Equally important was UN resolution 1973 in March, which authorizing willing UN member countries to use “all necessary means” (i.e. force) to protect the Libyan population from its own government. It specifically mentioned Benghazi, the capital of the rebel-held territory, as an area to be protected. And even Russia and China did not veto the resolution, although they had deep misgivings about where it might lead........

If the foreigners’ motives really were humanitarian— they wanted to stop Gadhafi’s atrocious regime from killing his own subjects, and thought that Libyans would be better off without him— then they actually were using force as an instrument of love. Not “love” as in the love songs, but love meaning a genuine concern for the welfare of others

Most resorts to force do not meet this criterion (although those using the force generally claim that they do). The United States did not invade Iraq out of concern for the welfare of Iraqis, for example. But once in a while there is a shining exception, and this is one of those times.

Gwynne Dyer tells it like it is. He is not an employee beholden to the puppet masters of the Main Stream Media. He lectured at Sandhurst so he understands military matters. The idea that Cameron & Sarkozy, the Jew running France acted honestly is a strange one but I do not have a better explanation to offer.

Propaganda War Against Colonel Gaddafi Stepping Up [ 9 June 2011 ]
QUOTE
The chief prosecutor of the international criminal court (ICC) is likely to add rape to the war crimes charges against Muammar Gaddafi on the back of mounting evidence that sexual attacks on women are being used as a weapon in the Libyan conflict. Luis Moreno-Ocampo told reporters at the UN in New York last night there were strong indications that hundreds of women had been raped in the Libyan government clampdown on the popular uprising and that Gaddafi had ordered the violations as a form of punishment......

The move came as Gaddafi's forces responded to NATO's intensified aerial bombardment of Tripoli on Tuesday by launching a heavy attack on rebel positions outside the liberated city of Misrata, unleashing a barrage of Grad rockets and mortars against rebel positions to the east, west and south of Misrata early on Wednesday morning, and followed up with an infantry assault. The Hikma hospital reported at least 10 rebel fighters died and 26 were wounded.

George Orwell told us that "Political language— and with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists— is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind".

World Politics And Oil
Oil is a survival issue. Surviving means do whatever it takes. It is not necessarily going to be pretty. Invading Kuwait? Check. Invading Iraq? Check? Invading Libya? Check. Invading Afghanistan? Check out the gas pipeline that is planned. Invading Iran. Check out the Jews that want us to invade it for them. It will start World War III but Zionist crazies are willing to kill everyone else.

Western Government Attacks On Libya Have Been Good For The Crime Industry [ 30 October 2015 ]
I think that is the essential point to take from this article. North Africa is a big place. Smuggling in lawless lands is that much easier, for those with the firepower and transport.
