The Wiki tells us that a republic is a country which is not, in theory or practice owned by its rulers, which implies Democracy. That lets England out, America ditto. They are both run as Zionist Occupation Governments [ ZOG ] using corrupt politicians who are bribed, blackmailed or just plain power crazed.
