Politics In Czech Republic

The Czech Republic aka Czechia is in central Europe, somewhere near Ruritania. It is a civilized country, one that brought us the Bren gun, which served so very well throughout the Second World War, in Korea and the Falklands. It also is home to Škoda Auto, producers of cars that worked.

Czechs brought us the Prague Spring, leading to a Soviet-led invasion and Velvet Revolution. They have what it takes to be part of Western Civilization. Unhappy memories of Tyranny imposed by the USSR mean they are not amused by the European Union's dictatorship or its diktats regarding Ethnic Fouling by Third World parasites.

QUOTE
A billionaire populist dubbed the 'Czech Trump' clinched victory in the Czech Republic's election on Saturday, while Eurosceptics and an anti-Islam group made strong gains.

Andrej Babiš' anti-corruption and anti-euro ANO (Yes) party won with 29.7 per cent support (78 parliament seats), in a victory that represents a shift to the right for the country. The party was followed by the anti-euro right-wing ODS party on 11.3 per cent (25 seats). Turnout was at 60 per cent.

Notice that Mr Babis is called a "populist", someone who panders to the lower instincts of the depraved peasant masses. He is also popular, something rather different; it matters in real Democracies. The Mail is hostile, a Propaganda machine that lies to the honest Working Man.

Accepting More Invaders Is The Road To Hell Says Czech Prime Minister  [ 19 July 2018 ]
That is the whole point.
QUOTE
According to a report on Czech Radio, Babiš said Italy’s decision to admit more invaders “went against the agreement reached at the last EU summit and stressed that Europe must send out a clear signal that its doors were closed to further asylum seekers.”

As negotiations with five willing EU member states on the re-distribution of the 450 invaders stranded at sea went ahead over the past weekend, the newly appointed Czech government reiterated its negative stance to the policy of admitting further invader to Europe.

Babiš, who at the most recent EU summit, refused to accept co-responsibility for the nonwhites already in Europe, said that taking in more asylum-seekers was a “road to hell”, a policy that would only motivate smugglers and increase their profits...............

Hamácek said the EU must focus its resources on helping in the countries of the invasion origin and step up the fight against people smugglers.

He said the Czech Republic was prepared to get involved in the Italian-led operation in support of Libyan security forces in the north of the country and other activities aimed at stemming the flow of invaders from their home countries.

The non-existent "fight against people smugglers" includes letting Helle Thorning-Schmidt carry on running Save The Children, a criminal organisation, one in the business of importing Third World parasites alleged to be children. NB In this context a "child" of 17 is plenty old enough to Rape and kill. Thorning-Schmidt was the prime minister of Denmark & part of Establishment. Her face fits, she is part of the Enemy Within.

Czech Republic Enshrines Its Own Second Amendment In Law
QUOTE
The Czech Republic, makers of what many consider the greatest firearms in the world, has enshrined its own Second Amendment into law in defiance of the gun grabbers running the European Union.

From Expats CZ, "The right to bear arms in self-defense is embedded in the Czech constitution":

Prague, July 21 (CTK) - The Senate, the upper house of Czech parliament, has approved the right to use arms to defend oneself and others under legal conditions to be embedded in the constitution as a reaction to the EU's pro-regulatory stance on firearms acquisition and possession.

This right was included in the Senate-proposed amendment to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, which is part of the constitution. Senators, therefore, passed the amendment as expected.

Based on the amendment, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms will include a new article saying that 'the right to defend one's own life or the life of another person even with the use of a weapon is guaranteed under the conditions set by the law.'

According to the authors of the bill, this constitutional change will prevent the right to bear arms from being restricted by common law and will strengthen the position of the Czech Republic in the debates on further EU regulations.

Now President Miloš Zeman must sign it into law. The president cannot veto a constitutional bill against common pieces of legislation.

Is bearing arms for purposes of self-defense a constitutional right?

"The proposal is not only symbolic in nature but can also serve as insurance for the future," said Senator Martin Červíček (ODS) who point out the tendency of some EU countries to ban the carrying of any objects that could be used as a weapon. According to Červíček, the disarmament of the population will not bring greater security, as criminals will obtain weapons illegally.

[...] The amendment comes as a reaction to a petition signed by 102,000 people, including a number of top elected officials. It was launched by hunters and other arms owners in reaction to the European Commission's effort to limit the possession of arms, including legally possessed ones.
The amendment will be enacted no later than September 1, Expats CZ reported.

This is good news for once. Czechs are allowed to have automatic rifles; that is self loading but not automatic firing. The latter feature is good for wasting ammunition but nothing else.

Czech Republic ex Wiki
The Czech Republic ( Czech: Česká republika ),[11] also known as Czechia[12], is a landlocked nation state in Central Europe bordered by Germany to the west, Austria to the south, Slovakia to the east and Poland to the northeast.[13] The Czech Republic covers an area of 78,866 square kilometres (30,450 sq mi) with a mostly temperate continental climate and oceanic climate. It is a unitary parliamentary republic, has 10.6 million inhabitants and the capital and largest city is Prague, with over 1.2 million residents. The Czech Republic includes the historical territories of Bohemia,[14] Moravia, and Czech Silesia.

The Czech state was formed in the late 9th century as the Duchy of Bohemia under the Great Moravian Empire. After the fall of the Empire in 907, the centre of power transferred from Moravia to Bohemia under the Přemyslid dynasty. In 1002, the duchy was formally recognized as part of the Holy Roman Empire,[15][16] becoming the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1198 and reaching its greatest territorial extent in the 14th century. Besides Bohemia itself, the king of Bohemia ruled the lands of the Bohemian Crown, he had a vote in the election of the Holy Roman Emperor, and Prague was the imperial seat in periods between the 14th and 17th century. In the Hussite wars of the 15th century driven by the Protestant Bohemian Reformation, the kingdom faced economic embargoes and defeated five consecutive crusades proclaimed by the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church.

Following the Battle of Mohács in 1526, the whole Crown of Bohemia was gradually integrated into the Habsburg Monarchy alongside the Archduchy of Austria and the Kingdom of Hungary. The Protestant Bohemian Revolt (1618–20) against the Catholic Habsburgs led to the Thirty Years' War. After the Battle of the White Mountain, the Habsburgs consolidated their rule, eradicated Protestantism and reimposed Roman Catholicism, and also adopted a policy of gradual Germanization. With the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806, the Bohemian Kingdom became part of the Austrian Empire and the Czech language experienced a revival as a consequence of widespread romantic nationalism. In the 19th century, the Czech lands became the industrial powerhouse of the monarchy and were subsequently the core of the Republic of Czechoslovakia, which was formed in 1918 following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire after World War I.

Czechoslovakia remained the only democracy in this part of Europe in the interwar period. However, the Czech part of Czechoslovakia was occupied by Germany in World War II, and was liberated in 1945 by the armies of the Soviet Union and the United States. The Czech country lost the majority of its German-speaking inhabitants after they were expelled following the war. The Communist Party of Czechoslovakia won the 1946 elections. Following the 1948 coup d'état, Czechoslovakia became a one-party communist state under Soviet influence. In 1968, increasing dissatisfaction with the regime culminated in a reform movement known as the Prague Spring, which ended in a Soviet-led invasion. Czechoslovakia remained occupied until the 1989 Velvet Revolution, when the communist regime collapsed and market economy was reintroduced. On 1 January 1993, Czechoslovakia peacefully dissolved, with its constituent states becoming the independent states of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The Czech Republic joined NATO in 1999 and the European Union (EU) in 2004; it is a member of the United Nations, the OECD, the OSCE, and the Council of Europe. It is a developed country[17] with an advanced,[18] high income economy[19] and high living standards.[20][21][22] The UNDP ranks the country 14th in inequality-adjusted human development.[23] The Czech Republic also ranks as the 6th most peaceful country, while achieving strong performance in democratic governance.

Ruritania ex Wiki
Ruritania
is a fictional country in central Europe which forms the setting for three books by Anthony Hope: The Prisoner of Zenda (1894), The Heart of Princess Osra (1896), and Rupert of Hentzau (1898). The first and third are set in the recent past, between the 1850s and 1880s. The second is set in the 1730s, though it refers to subsequent events that happened between that time and the time of writing.

The kingdom is also the setting for sequels and variations by other writers. It lent its name to a genre of adventure stories known as Ruritanian romances, and is used in academia to refer to a hypothetical country.
