While it is difficult to argue against the first part of the narrative given Hitler’s rather explicit calls for Lebensraum in “Mein Kampf” and his gung-ho approach to European diplomacy in the years leading up the war, the second part is directly questionable...................
So, rather than pointing to the fact that Poland may or may not have had an anti-Semitism problem and was far from a perfect democracy, what other evidence is there that Poland was not a worthy cause for British blood to be spilled in what turned out to be a devastating war?..........
Given the large amount of weapons sent by the Poles, there is every chance that these five British victims, along with many innocent Arabs and even a few Jews, were killed by Polish weapons. This is without mentioning the much larger number of British victims in the post-war period, when, I assume, much of the munitions sent by Poland were still usable?
The fact that the Polish government was operating in this extremely underhanded way to a country it would later call upon to defend its sovereignty should, of course, not be seen as justification for Hitler’s actions. But the myth enshrined in the public consciousness that the Polish state was some whiter-than-white victim in 1939 should be shot down in flames.

Kaczyński announced his candidacy on 26 April 2010, and said he would take the place of his recently deceased brother.[4][5] He received 36.46% of votes in the first round, while acting president Bronisław Komorowski received 41.54%. In the second round, against Komorowski, he was defeated—receiving 46.99% of the votes, while Komorowski received 53.01% and won.

You can spot a theme here and I’ll get to the Saviour bit shortly. And Gross has some strong evidence to back up his charges, with the “cancer of anti-Semitism” penetrating the ranks of the Communist Party itself. “What is it all about? We are slaving like mad while Jews live like there is no tomorrow, they buy butter and chicken, where were they when we were fighting in the guerrillas?”. One gloomy comrade observed “just give Jews a good thrashing and you get applause”. A report on the 1946 Kielce ‘pogrom’ admitted “In the current month very strong anti-Jewish opinions manifested themselves, especially among the intelligentsia. The fact is that the pogrom met with the moral approval of many groups in our society. Workers are beginning to see the Party and Government as Jewish”. “A pregnant Jewish woman gets thousands of zlotys, what do I get? What don’t Jews work in factories? In Ostrowiec several hundred Jews are not working and still living well. In the majority of state-run spas you find only wealthy Jews and Polish reactionaries.”And what of the afore-mentioned pogrom at Kielce? Was it a pogrom? From contemporary police records the setting was described thus: “An organisational system where all the Jews live in one building, do not participate in productive work but still live very well and engage in all kinds of wheeling and dealing with impunity.” Reading Goss you’d get the impression that the police and then the general public attacked the building and slaughtered those within. But official police records show that the police were attacked and some killed when they first called at the building to investigate a missing Polish child. It was only after this that local Poles went after the local Jewish community. An outraged Gross refers to a telegram from the British Ambassador to the Vatican to the Foreign Office which apparently cites “a litany of Jewish mischief”. Osborne wrote of “mysterious vanishing Christian children” after Jews began to return to Poland after the war “perhaps half a million Bolshevised Jews, many of them coarse-mannered Russians”. He described the Kielce ‘pogrom’ as follows: “An officer with a group of militia arrived at the building which they found locked. The doors were forced open at which point the officer and some of the militia men were killed by gunfire emanating from within.” Well, two sides to the story, and all that.
Having said that there can be no disputing the general state of Poland’s antipathy to its Jews. It cannot be disputed that even during WW 2 Poles were no more hostile to the Germans than they were to Polish Jews. Wehrmacht records show that, during the siege of the Warsaw ghetto, citizens cheered on the soldiers and “intermingled with our troops in a dangerous manner”.
How could this be? One returned emigré lamented “we hypothesised that the frightening tragedy of the Polish Jews would cure the Poles of anti-Semitism, that the sight of massacred children must evoke a response of compassion and help. The common fate suffered under the occupation must unite us. But we didn’t understand human nature. The country surprised us.”
But should it have surprised them? I’ll answer by laying out what I see as the pathologies leading to the endless iterations of ‘anti-Semitism’. First is narcissism/solipsism. This is abundantly clear in the books by Gross and in fact by almost all Jewish writing: Jews have suffered disproportionally and that – in practice – only Jewish problems and concerns matter. Reading Fear from cover to cover you get a catalogue of Jewish suffering at the hands of Poles (and Germans). Yet the fact that Poland itself suffered horrendous loss of life (much at the hands of Jewish Bolsheviks from the USSR) and calamitous physical destruction barely merits a mention. In fact any suggestion of equivalence is indignantly rejected. Jews have cornered the – very lucrative – suffering market. It’s always about the Jews, and on those odd occasions when it’s not directly about them it’s indirectly about them. For instance the loudly-proclaimed Jewish empathy for refugees and migrants magically serves the more strategic Jewish objective diluting the native populations of European-derived countries. The empathy certainly doesn’t extend to allowing those unfortunates settle in Israel. Scratch Jewish empathy or philanthropy and you’ll invariably reveal the real motivator.
The second factor is Jewish self-deception, which has a symbiotic relationship with narcissism/solipsism. Focusing only on yourselves and your needs and endlessly retelling the wrongs you suffered leads to a kind of psychological numbing which in turn leads to a vicious circle of delusion and bad behaviour. The self-deception often rests on a foundation of narrowly-focused ‘facts’ while ignoring the broader social or historical context. Thus pogroms, often in reality inter-communal violence in which all parties suffered, will narrowly focus on the depredations visited on say a particular Jewish family, a practice guaranteed to generate a strong emotional reaction and reduces the capacity for self-reproof. Charges of Jewish misbehaviour are summarily dismissed as canards or baseless stereotypes, the substance of the allegations never subject to dispassionate analysis.
Little surprise then that Jews demonstrate an inability or unwillingness to compromise when it comes to their perceived interests and never knowing when to stop pushing. Despite lofty claims of free speech being a traditional Jewish virtue, Jews, when in power, have been quick to clamp down on it. As we can see all around us today. I read in Fear that Jakob Berman, a leading enforcer of the Communist Party in Poland, demanded that anti-Semitism in all its forms be “condemned unconditionally”. Just like today, the text of his proposal proposed banning the expression of anything negative about Jews, which, by default, could not be true. Interestingly, a trade union official supporting this at a works meeting was beaten up by the workers. Will we ever exhibit a similar reaction?
My offer to the Jews of salvation and the possibility of living in peace and prosperity rests on their opening themselves to self-criticism and through that the gradual elimination of the other pathologies with which they plague us goyim. “Oh, would some

The most likely origin of the legend is a skirmish at the Pomeranian village of Krojanty on the first day of the German invasion, 1 September 1939. Polish lancers, whose units had still not been motorised, did indeed charge a Wehrmacht infantry battalion but were forced to retreat under heavy machine gun fire. By the time German and Italian war correspondents got there, some tanks had arrived and they joined the dots themselves....Macintyre points out that one in 12 Battle of Britain pilots was a Pole, and some 250,000 Polish troops served with British forces, while a huge, largely forgotten role was also played by the Polish resistance. The Home Army, as it was called, is thought to have been about 400,000-strong, and inflicted serious damage on German occupying forces throughout the war. The French Resistance only grew to that size after D Day, when the tide had already turned. But while the French were able to lead the liberation parade into Paris, the Polish Home Army and its memory were crushed by the country's new Soviet occupiers, with western acquiescence.

Documents received from Claims Conference did not detail who had received damages or whether they were really Holocaust survivors, Budapest also complained.
