They managed to dispose of €889,499 on rent and admin, rather more than those alleged victims came in for. Their average pay is €65,000 which is a lot better than the average man gets. Throw in the job security, a big plus with depression looming and an inflation proof pension and ask yourself whether the tax payers are getting value.

Bonus benefits are that one of the groups they give money to is run by an aspiring murderer and another one spent almost €700,000 to do up one house. In other words a very large most of the money given to those victims was stolen.

Combat Poverty sounded rather worthy. It was meant to sound worthy. It did combat poverty for a very few. Ireland Will Decriminalise Drugs [ 4 November 2015 ]

Ireland will move towards decriminalising substances including heroin, cocaine and cannabis as part of a “radical cultural shift”, the country's drugs minister has said.

The report was reportedly withdrawn after at least one nation put pressure on the international body to bury the findings of Dr Monica Beg, chief of the HIV/AIDs section of the UNODC in Vienna.

The man has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years and his wife will serve a term of four years and nine months.

The couple, who will remain unnamed to protect the identity of the child, pleaded not guilty to procuring FGM, claiming in the trial that their daughter had suffered the injury as a result of falling onto a toy while not wearing a diaper, according to RTE.

Their version of events was disputed [ by ] health professionals in the trial who argued that it was clearly a case of female genital mutilation. Sri Paran, the paediatric surgeon who performed surgery on the girl to stop the bleeding, said that the injury was not accidental.

Sentencing the African couple, Judge Elma Sheahan said that the child suffered an “appalling act of cruelty” in the “most egregious breach of trust by those presumed to be the protectors of their infant child”.

Female genital mutilation was first criminalised in the Republic of Ireland in 2012 and carries a maximum sentence of 14 years, however, no one has been jailed for the offence until now.

Detective Chief Superintendent Declan Daly said that the couple’s sentencing sends a strong and important message that Female Genital Mutilation will not be tolerated in the country. He said: “It is a heinous and barbaric practice which is a criminal offence in Ireland.”

In October, Breitbart London reported that as many as 6,000 women and girls have had their genitals mutilated in Ireland, with another 3,000 currently at risk of having the gruesome procedure inflicted upon them.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that over 200 million women and girls have been subjected to FGM and every year three million girls are in danger of having their genitals cut.

It's hard to imagine two people less suitable for the role of children's guardian than Zappone and O'Gorman. Surely it's not unreasonable to see a hidden hand at work in their appointments? And as could be expected the establishment chattering classes all came out in support of O'Gorman for the 'hate' being directed at him. Yet these were the very people who hounded Catholic clergy on the slightest suspicion of paedophilia for decades. Honour and consistency aren't high on the libtard scale of values.
